Volunteer! 10-16-09

Wow it is chilly outside today!!! I am glad that we are supposed to get a warm up next week, even if it is only for a few days. Okay, enough about the weather, lets get down to business! :0) We have quite a few new volunteer opportunities this week, please check them out below. I hope that you can find something that interests you. If you would like more information on any of the opportunities, contact me at samantha@uw.lafayette.in.us.

Volunteering fun fact:

According to Mayo Clinic, people who volunteer have lower rates of heart disease and live longer.

So now when you volunteer, remember that you are making an impact on your own health as well! :0) Just one more reason to VOLUNTEER!
