Volunteer 3/19/2010

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Lafayette Brewing Co. on St. Patrick's Day for the United Way Benefit and thank you to the bands who rocked! We really appreciate all of your support! It still amazes me to see how this community comes together and supports so much in the area...you guys are great!

Volunteer Fact of the Week:

According to the United States Department of Labor, there were 63,361 people volunteered for an average of 50 hours each in 2009.

That's a lot of volunteering and I like it!

Also, don't forget to fill out your 2010 Census, it only takes a few minutes to do! I have already filled mine out and mailed it back.

Here are this week's volunteer opportunities. I hope that you can find something that catches your eye. If you are interested in any of the following, please contact me at samantha@uw.lafayette.in.us or at (765) 742-9077 x 227.
